It aims to raise awareness about digital pollution, encouraging individuals and companies to declutter and restructure their online presence. The Ski Jumping World Cup Finals are under way in Planica this week. Currently taking place is the individual competition which kicked off at 3 PM.
TO NE MOREŠ VERJETI – YOU CAN’T BELIEVE IT, but Dave and Fani are indeed spending their HONEYMOON – MEDENI TEDEN in Paris, and they’ll probably need more than one day to see all the sights, including all the MUSEUMS – MUZEJI, CATHEDRALS – KATEDRALE, PALACES – PALAČE and SHOPS – TRGOVINE. But they started the day off with a stop at a local BAKERY – PEKARNA, and Dave wants to finish it by going SKINNY DIPPING – KOPATI SE NAG in the RIVER – REKA.
Off goes Dave to CUT THE GRASS – KOSITI TRAVO, while Fani starts preparing a big tasty LUNCH, an obilno KOSILO, for her dear Dave. Who knows, it might turn out to be a LEP DAN – A NICE DAY after all.
Dave was expecting a quieter day off but at least he learnt a lot of new and useful words in TWO languages this time..Slovenian and the Štajerska dialect. BRAKES are ZAVORE in Slovenian, BREMZE in Štajerska. The CLUTCH is MENJALNIK or SKLOPKA/KUPLUNGA. A MIRROR is OGLEDALO or ŠPEGEL. WINDSCREEN WIPERS are BRISALCI or ŠAJBNVIŠERI. And a TECHNICAL CHECK is TEHNIČNI PREGLED in most places. And it wasn't all about cars either... SPREDAJ is AT THE FRONT, and ZADAJ is AT THE BACK... And the good news is that Dave gets to do it all again NEXT YEAR - NASLEDNJE/DRUGO LETO!

'Big FU' je zanimiv tudi zaradi vokalnih talentov Ayre Starr. Nigerijska pevka in tekstopiska je z mešanjem samozavestnih, močnih besedil z afro-popom in mehkim R&B zvokom dosegla uspeh s svojim debitantskim albumom iz leta 2021, 19 & Dangerous, in hitom Bloody Samaritan, ki je dosegel vrh lestvice. Chicaški reper Lil Durk je glavni član in ustanovitelj kolektivne in založbe Only the Family (OTF). Durk je pridobil kultni status med oboževalci z izdajo svoje serije mešanic Signed to the Streets, kar je privedlo do pogodbe z založbo Def Jam Recordings, v okviru katere je izdal dva studijska albuma. Poglejmo, kaj je še pripomoglo k nalezljivemu zvoku novega singla 'Big FU' sodelujoče trojice. Pri nastajanju sta bila uporabljena dva sampla, prvi je bas linija iz še enega plesnega megahita, Lady (Hear Me Tonight) Modjo. Drugi, bolj vpliven vzorec večih elementov, prihaja iz Artful Dodger-jeve Movin' Too Fast iz leta 1999. Britanski garažni duo Artful Dodger, ki ga sestavljata tekstopisca in producenta Mark Hill in Pete Devereux, je pesem izdal na svojem debitantskem studijskem albumu, It's All About the Stragglers. "Movin' Too Fast" je pravzaprav prvotno posnela Romina Johnson, ki se pojavlja tudi v pesmi dua, originalno kot solo singl, ki se pojavi na njenem prvencu iz leta 1998, Simply Passion. Različica-remiks pesmi s strani Artful Dodger je bila najprej distribuirana kot samostojna vinilna izdaja, a potem, ko so jo pričeli množično uporabljati DJ-ji, je bila licencirana pri Locked On za mainstream distribucijo. Capital Xtra je pesem uvrstila na svoj seznam "Najboljše starošolske garažne himne vseh časov". Pesem »Movin' Too Fast« se sicer po prvotni izdaji ni uvrstila na lestvice, a je bila po uspehu hita dua »Re-Rewind« ponovno izdana leta 2000 in postala velika uspešnica.
