Eva and Rok are a young Spanish-Slovenian couple who were picked out to test a tourist offer, dubbed ''Tastes of Pohorje''. Elise is a neuro science student who spent a year in Ljubljana as part of a Fullbright scholarship, where she researched the metabolism of our brain's immune cells. Why did she chose Slovenia for her research and what has this experience taught her? She chose to play the song Hope by the American rapper NF.
Simone Micheilin is a Dutch woman who says her home and roots are now in Slovenia! What happened was she arrived in Slovenia on a Saturday, saw a house on Sunday, went to the Upravna enota on Monday, and then left Slovenia on Tuesday knowing that she just bought a house in Rečica ob Savinji. After the initial shock she quickly fell in the love with the country and its people, and now works as a tour guide.

Alexandra knew practically nothing about Slovenia before arriving in Ljubljana. She says she expected there would be more of a "Balkan influence", adding that she loves the mix of the many influences she ended up finding in Slovenia. She chose to play Dragostea Din Tei by O-Zone.

Hossein Mazarei is an Iranian who has been in Slovenia for over two years now. He met his Slovene wife while backpacking in Turkey. In recent months Hossein has been spending time between Brežice, Središče ob Dravi and Šentilj, with in between stops in Ljubljana, where he lives, and in Maribor. He currently works as an interpreter for Persian and English at the refugee camps in Slovenia. Our conversation with Hossein offers interesting views on Slovenian society, mentality and the current situation.
