Dave arrived at the GAS or PETROL STATION – BENCINSKA ČRPALKA with a “bomba”. But he didn’t have a real bomb with him. A PLINSKA BOMBA is another word for what Slovene’s call PLINSKA JEKLENKA or GAS CYLINDER. Fani likes using GAS – PLIN for making her COFFEE – KAVA, and not ELECTRICITY – ELEKTRIKA, which she says is EXPENSIVE – DRAGA.
The FUEL PRICES – CENE GORIVA are getting higher and higher these days. So if you don’t want to drive on a RESERVE tank or REZERVA all the time you will need to spend a nice sum on a FULL TANK – POLNI REZERVOAR. The price also varies, depending on the kind of fuel: REGULAR 95-OCTANE – 95-OKTANSKI BENCIN or DIESEL FUEL - DIZEL. But people, like our Dave, don’t just buy fuel at the PETROL STATION – BENCINSKA ČRPALKA, but all sorts of things, like ice cream, beer, and even sandwiches. And that can make prices even more expensive…
