Danes je mednarodni dan prostovoljcev. Ti pa bodo pomembno zaznamovali tudi Evropsko prestolnico kulture v Novi Gorici in Gorici prihodnje leto. Za to največje kulturno dogajanje pri nas v letu 2025 iščejo večje število prostovoljcev.

Nova Gorica will be Europe's Capital of Culture in 2025. Nova Gorica decided to share the culture capital project with Italy's Gorizia. The mayors of both cities watched the live streaming of the announcement together at the shared Europe Square. Nova Gorica and Gorizia have a long-running history of cooperation, and the bid has enjoyed undivided political support in both cities.
