Jane Coyle is an award-winning writer, arts journalist and critic, who has worked across print and broadcast media platforms in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Jane has written three feature-length screenplays and five stage plays and is co-librettist for the opera adaptation of her play The Suitcase.
The suitcase became her inspiration for the Farm Girl monologue which tells the story of a girl growing up during WW2 and the horrors of the concentration camps. A monologue which she has performed around much of Europe and Great Britain. This performance was made here in Ljubliana and was arranged by the British Embassy.

Compulsory military service was officially reinstated in Croatia this week. On the first day 800 teenagers reported for duty at army baracks across the country.
