Our last show of the season takes us to the small town of VRHNIKA on the outskirts of the Ljubljana marshes. Exploring the area for us was a lovely Brazilian family of three, YULIA, DIEGO and LUIZA.

''Undiscovered Stories of the Valley of Mills: Educational Trail of Dwarf Biser'' is a 2-day tourist offer that was tested by two friends from Russia, MARINA KHOLINA and LIUBA TVELENEVA. The young scouts were sent off to the beautiful ŠALEŠKA VALLEY near Velenje, where they had a lot of fun by tasting the valley’s rich cultural and natural heritage. Over there, they learned about the region's history and local legends, witnessed a rich collection of antiques, spent time with some wild animals at a beautiful local homestead, enjoyed their so-called Valley of Peace, were blown away by a real beach near Velenje and visited a house that has been turned into an eco museum. The offer was prepared by the Šaleška Tourist board.

They shared their experience with an offer coordinated by the Center Rinka in Solčava - from enjoying an authentic morning at a high-altitude mountain farm, learning about the local heritage and its people, e-cycling an idylic panoramic road to a hands-on experience with felted wool from the local sheep.
