A number of concerts, performances, exhibitions, and film screenings will take place in Ljubljana and Maribor as part of the 27th Red Dawns festival
The international feminist and queer festival will run until International Women's Day next Sunday.
The festival opens tonight in Ljubljana with short queer-feminist films from around the globe.
The audience will vote for the best film, which will receive the Audience Award.
Red Dawns began in the year 2000 and is traditionally held in the beginning of March.
