The new law ensures that the upcoming emission allowance scheme for transport and buildings won't raise end-user prices.
Environment Minister Bojan Kumer called it a solid compromise, saying the bill will enable a coordinated rollout of climate policies.
It also promises more aid for citizens, subsidies for clean technologies, investment in building renovations, support for green transition in the economy, and better protection against extreme weather.
