Most of the country saw lows below -10 degrees.
Meteorologist Brane Gregorčič said it’s colder than any morning last winter.
Several central Slovenia stations also recorded extreme lows, including -23.9 in Nova Vas and -20.5 in Logatec.
Temperatures will stay below freezing throughout the day.
