Slovenia won its second medal today at the ICF Slalom World Championships in Australia.
Slovenia's canoe team, comprising Benjamin Savšek, Luka Božič and Žiga Lin Hočevar, won the bronze medal. The Slovenian team had the fastest time, but failed to win the gold after receiving penalty points for touching one of the gates. Despite losing the gold, one of the most experienced in the team, Benjmain Savšek, said they were happy with the result.
Yesterday, Slovenia's won its first medal at the championship, when kayaker Ajda Novak finished second in the kayak-cross competition.
