Slovenia has removed its diplomatic staff from its embassy in Tehran.
Officials said it was a temporary measure. The ambassador and a diplomat went to Azerbaijan before returning home.
Slovenia has also finished evacuating its citizens from the Middle East. After nine flights, more than 900 Slovenes and about 150 Europeans were airlifted out.
A number of Slovenian citizens remain stuck outside the Middle East, most of them in the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
