Labour Day celebrations in Slovenia are taking place tonight, with bonfires, music and maypoles.
The bonfire celebration on Ljubljana's Rožnik Hill tonight will stress the importance of workers' solidarity and equality.
The Rožnik event will start tonight with keynote speakers representing major trade union confederations.
Labour Day events will also take place in many other cities and towns across the country, including in Maribor, Ptuj and Nova Gorica. As part of the Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture, a Walk of Friendship will take place in the two towns tomorrow.
