Economy Minister Matjaž Han said that a solution would have to be found, as "this trade wars madness" will bring down Europe as well as the US, as quoted by the Slovenian Press Agency (STA).
According to Han, the situation was not catastrophic for Slovenia at the moment. But he did warn about indirect effects stemming from the fact that Slovenian automotive companies are parts of supply chains of European car manufacturers, the STA adds.

In general, the minister sees the situation as very bad for the global economy.
