Anti-corruption protest marches also took place in towns and cities across Serbia again today. The main bridge in the capital Belgrade, Gazela Bridge, was blocked for a number of hours until 6 p.m.
Three intersections in Novi Sad were also blocked for around three hours earlier in the day, mostly by students who have been leading the protests since the start of November.
A number of celebrities have expressed solidarity with the protestors, including tennis player Novak Djokovic, singer Madonna and the rock band Garbage.
In January, the 2025 Nobel Prize Committee listed the students of Serbia as one of the candidates for this year's Nobel Peace Prize, which will be announced in October.
