The production of the all-electric Renault Twingo has begun in Slovenia.
The Novo Mesto assembly plant Revoz will also continue to produce the Renault Clio 5.
Revoz currently assembles some 280 cars per day.
In Slovenia, the Twingo E-Tech is expected to launch in mid-May, while in some other European countries the new model will be available a few weeks sooner.
Revoz was confirmed as the production site for two more new small electric vehicles, as the electric versions of Dacia and Nissan are expected to be assembled there as well.
These two projects are currently in early stages, but Revoz estimates that their mass production may begin in autumn.
