The Prešeren Fund Awards will also be presented before the Grand Prešeren Award to those who have made a contribution to improving the cultural landscape of the country with significant artistic achievements within the last three years. The awards are presented to up to six people or groups each year.

This year's winners are the visual artist Nika Autor, the design collective Grupa Ee, the writer Nataša Kramberger, theater director Nina Rajić Kranjac, musician Tomaž Grom and Julij Zornik, for exceptional sound design in films.

The President of the Prešeren Fund Board, Zdenka Badinovac, will hand out the awards. The event will also be attended by Asta Vrečko, the Minister of Culture.

The event will be transmitted live on national radio and on the Slo 1 TV channel from 7.55 p.m. this evening.
