Slovenia began the Eurobasket championships with a defeat, losing 95:105 against hosts Poland last night.
The two sides played at the quarterfinals in 2022, which Poland won.
Poland led for most of the game. Luka Doncic was the top scorer, with 34 points.
Slovenia will face the French on Saturday, on Sunday they will play against Belgium, and after a day of rest they will play against Iceland and Israel. The top four teams will qualify for the next round of the competition.
