The government will soon reveal possible route variants for a motorway section connecting the Jelšane border crossing with Croatia to the A1 motorway at Postojna.
The project has been talked about for more than 20 years.

The 37 km route will be divided into several sections
It is not clear yet when construction could start. Based on calculations made in 2023, the project is valued at EUR 1.1 billion.
