The Christmas lights were switched on in Nova Gorica and Celje today.
Officials from the cities of Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia, which co-host this year's European Capital of Culture, turned on the festive lights in the joint Europe Square.
Celje, which was named this year's European Christmas City, also turned on its Christmas lights today.
Slovenia's capital Ljubljana did so on Friday, while Maribor switched on its Christmas lights a day earlier, on Thursday.
