Balloonfest is beginning today in Murska Sobota.
It will last until Sunday. Some 45 balloons will take to the skies, many in unique shapes like hearts and animals.
Thirty-five balloons come from abroad, including Brazil, Taiwan, Qatar and many European countries.
The festival will also feature concerts by popular Slovenian musical acts and creative workshops for children, puppet and theatre shows and performances by magicians and circus performers.
The festival kicks off tonight by Lake Sobota by Murska Sobota.
