The "June in Ljubljana" festival open at the Congress Square in Ljubljana today.
It opens this evening with a concert by the Big Band Orchestra of the Slovenian Armed Force, featuring pop singers Nuška Drašček and Leopold I.
The admission-free festival will bring a number of events, including shows for children, concerts, street performances, and outdoor libraries.
The festival will wrap up on the 25th of June with a concert by the international Alps Adriatic Youth Orchestra.
