Domen Prevc received the Golden Eagle trophy today as the winner of the Four Hills Tournament. Domen Prevc won two out of the four "new year hills". He also finished second twice, including at the today's jumps at Bischofshofen in Germany.
Domen is only the third Slovenian to win the Golden Eagle. The last Slovenian to win it was his brother Peter Prevc, on this day, ten years ago.
Meanwhile his sister Nika Prevc won another World Cup ski jumping event in Austria's Villach today. This was her second victory in two days in Villach.
This was Nika Prevc's 7th victory this season and 29th in her career so far.
In the top 10 today was also another Slovenian, Nika Vodan, who finished 7th.
Next weekend the women’s ski jumping World Cup will move to Slovenia’s Ljubno, with competitions scheduled between the 9th and 11th of January.
