It will be the first time a brother and sister share this honour for Slovenia.
They will lead the flag ceremony in Predazzo, where the ski jumping events will be held.
The official opening takes place on Friday, 6 February, at 8 p.m., with the main ceremony at Milan’s San Siro stadium.
