All of the three missing Croatian mountaineers have been found dead in the Slovenian Alps.
They were descending Slovenia's highest mountain Triglav when they were swept away by an avalanche on the lower Mt. Tosc. One of the missing was found dead yesterday, while the bodies of the remaining two were found today. The head of the rescue operation, Mitja Arh, said the bodies were found today at an altitude of around 1,800 meters.
Around 70 rescuers from Bohinj, Jesenice and Radovljica took part in the search efforts, alongside police officers, and helicopters. The interior ministers of Slovenia and Croatia visited the headquarters of the rescue operation today, expressing their condolences to the victims' families.
