Slovenian air traffic controllers have called off their planned strike for today and Tomorrow after reaching a compromise with the national air traffic control service.
Slovenia Control announced the cancellation late last night, following what it described as intense negotiations. The company confirmed that air traffic will continue to operate without disruption.
According to the statement, the two sides have “neared their positions on how to regulate air traffic controllers’ right to recreational leave,” and an agreement has now been reached. Slovenia Control added that the details of the agreement cannot yet be disclosed, as it still needs to be discussed and confirmed by the company’s supervisory board. The agreement will be incorporated into the collective bargaining agreement.
